This light ale version of the American lager style was historically produced to compete with the lager breweries in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The closely balanced light malt profile is neither malt nor hop dominant. The hop profile is accented by the UK East Kent Goldings low bitterness and floral nose, while the late additions of German Tettnang provide a mild and pleasant earthy aroma.
