Beechy Summer Ale is a beer that can trace its roots back to our first commercial brew, in the original brewery in Ben’s dads shed back in 2005. This beer has been really dialled in through tasting our range, reviewing recipes and hop profiles over the past 6 months, but relies on our 13 year brewing and industry experience.
This all translates into the beer we have created, an aromatic Australian summer ale with a punchy hop aroma, low pallet weight and a clean drying finish with moderate to low bitterness.
What’s with the Beech?
Bridge Road Brewers is located in Beechworth, at the foot of Victoria’s High Country, about 4hrs drive in any direction from the nearest ocean beach.
However hanging out at the local beach during the peak of summer is something that we love as much any seaside dweller. The High Country is littered with waterways and swimming holes, including the mighty Murray River, beautiful Lake Catani on Mt Buffalo and our own spring fed lake in heart of Beechworth, Lake Sambell. We’re really looking forward to Summer evenings at the lake this year with this beer in hand.
