Our dubbel balances two key elements--malt and yeast. A variety of dark malts provide toasty, raison, and dark fruit characters and give the beer its deep red color. Belgian Trappist yeast develops fruity esters and light spicy notes through the fermentation process and leads to a fairly dry finish.
