
Taking an old school malt approach to the classic style West Coast Pale Ale, and adding some new school hops for additional aroma and flavor. This beer pours a deep amber color from the use of pale malt, Munich malt, and a mild crystal malt; creating a solid malt flavor, with a touch of sweetness, finishing crisp and clean. We decided to throw out the boil hops, and move them all to a large whirlpool addition; creating a unique flavor profile. A large dry hop of Equinox, Simcoe, and Mandarina Bavaria were chosen to create a bold grapefruit, sweet orange peel, melon, and berry aroma and flavor.
