Named for Mop Man's 46-foot fishing boat that currently resides at the bottom of the Atlantic, we're raising the Misty Dawn to sail again. This time around, we were inspired by the New Jersey-grown and -malted grain from our friends at Rabbit Hill, and we utilized their rustic Farmhouse Pilsner, red wheat, and rye malts to give this version of Misty Dawn Saison an earthy and complex foundation. Paired with an expressive Belgian yeast strain, Misty Dawn Saison is a distinctively unique beer with notes of grapefruit zest, earthiness, and a dry, spicy finish -- thanks in part to a hefty addition of Noble Saaz hops to round things out.
