Juggernaut is a citrus-forward, bone-dry American IPA. Pithy grapefruit takes front and center, driving the huge dry-hop profile, supported with notes of peach and apricot. Cut pine provides a counterpoint to the intense fruit character, and adds a level of pungent yet bright fresh hop aroma. On the palate the biscuit malt base provides a subtle springboard, from which a towering hop-load comes crashing through; citrus peel, ripe mango, and waves of building resin. The body of this beer adds a savage twist to the bitterness; fermented out to be intensely dry and light, Juggernaut is mercilessly devoid of sweetness. This aggressive IPA is a celebration of some of our all-time favorite American hops – Simcoe, Chinook & Mosaic to name a few.
