This deceptively drinkable beer won a Silver Medal in the American-Belgo category at the 2010 GABF. Brewed as a Belgian Golden Strong Ale (or Strong Pale), and then hopped with intense American hops, this beer is the best of both worlds. Trademark Belgian yeast and Simcoe hops combine to give off unique notes of spicy pineapple, mango, bubblegum and cotton candy. The initial soft malt sweetness and orange fruitiness leads to a slightly spicy and hoppy dry finish.
