This beer is named after the great Joe Frazier, world heavyweight champion in the early ' 70, unyielding opponent of Muhammad Ali, who battled in three memorable bouts, considered to be among the toughest and thrilling in boxing history.
His coach had nicknamed smokin' Joe because he said he could let out the smoke from the gloves.
This Smoked Porter has ebony color, intense and deep, with bruni. The foam is high, buttery texture and nutty color.
The aroma is clean and pronounced: clear presence of roasted malts and obvious smoked notes reminiscent of speck and the peat, followed by coffee, barley and chocolate. The palate shows a medium body, soft and consistent, characterized by a mouth full and extended. Amaro of medium intensity and persistence, smoked the average returns in their mouths but it is subtle and is accompanied by the scents of roasted malts.
