A traditional sack mead at 17% abv aged for 6 months in port barrels. Made primarily with NC Spring Wildflower honey and fermented with champagne yeast. This is the first in a series of strong (sack) traditional meads aged in oak barrels. Each one will be produced with a different honey or combination of honeys and aged in various oak barrels.
