A mead made with wildflower honey and cabernet sauvignon grape juice. Pours ruby red, low semi-sweet with a great balance of honey and grape wine character. This mead is also aged briefly on oak which imparts an additional element to the taste as well as adds a bit of tannin to soften the sweetness from the honey. Pairs well with almost any cheese, charcuterie, and dark meats.
