This is a mead wine (fermented honey) aged on bourbon barrels pulled from a whiskey company. We then add fresh vanilla beans to the barrel along with a fresh shaved zest of ripe oranges. The honey wine exctacts the whiskey flavor from these barrels and subtle notes of vanilla and orange.
