Cardinal's first swing top beer made history and is a creation by two friends, which simply must be tasted. Markus Brendel developed Cardinal Brunette in Sion, where Philippe Riem was working as a brewer at Cardinal for already 35 years. They had been friends for 20 years and as a sign of their friendship, Cardinal Brunette was also brewed in Sion. A grounded, innovative and quaffable Swiss ale was created, which impresses with its long lasting bitterness. The delicate roast flavour and the malty, hop-accented taste are perfectly highlighted. Cardinal Brunette is thus a beer for true connoisseurs, who appreciate true brewing arts and passion.
