Crosby's Kitchen & CocktailSmoked Imperial Porter

A rich and boozy version of an american style porter, which is lightly accented with smoke from the addition of German beechwood smoked malt. While chocolate and coffee flavors from the addition of chocolate malt and other dark malts dominate, the smoke flavor plays in the background with other notes such as caramel and toffee from crystal malts and zesty citrus from our house ale yeast. Herbal and blackberry notes from the hops can be detected underneath it all. Thick and rich, this slow sipper is also a fine accompaniment to rich, ripe cheeses and grilled meat.
