
Brut is a new style of IPA that is almost exclusively brewed in the Bay Area. Enzymes are added during fermentation to help the yeast eat every possible bit of sugar. The result is a beer that is bone dry and very reminiscent of champagne. Aromas of sweet bread and tropical fruits jump from the glass as effervescence leaves your tongue tingling with flavors of papaya and citrus rinds.
