The Flemish Sour starts with a blend of fresh pressed Virginia apples inoculated with the famous Roeselare yeast blend, which is traditionally used in the production of Flemish red ales. The cider is fermented and aged in French oak barrels from our friends at Commonwealth Brewing Company. It then receives a hefty dose of tart Montmorency cherries, adding a definitively tart, fruity note to this dry, funky cider.
