A collaboration brew with Karl Strauss. We went down to Karl Strauss’ historic Columbia St. brewpub (opened in 1989) and brewed this for National IPA day with a mentor and all around brewing badass Paul Segura. Day 2 we got to hang with our former Head Brewer Ryan Traylor who helped finish the back to back brews. A fun spin on a new style we chose to use 100% Nelson hops with white wine grapes. Sixth Sense is all about the flavor and aroma of the hops as the body is super dry and deceptively smooth for the 7.3% with rich fruity & white wine flavors and aromas.
