We've been working on this for two years along with Backpocket Head Brewer Jake and Goose Island Innovation Brewer Tim Faith. Sick Mustache is inspired by American Flyers with Kevin Costner - our Iowa hero! Sick Mustache started with a traditional Kolsch brewed with German yeast and hops. Simple right? Too simple. Then Tim and Jake decided to give this brew some American flare with a healthy dose of Nugget and Amarillo hops. Done? Nope. Then they turned it into a super-crushable radler by combining it with a Tangerine Soda.
The final product is a bright and refreshing radler that holds on to that crisp hopiness while boasting a subtly sweet burst of tangerine.
