There's a reason why the natives of Cologne (Köln) are so fanatical about their very special Kölschbier - it's delicate, dry and very digestible. This ale is so exclusive that under German law it is confined to a 50km radius of the Cologne Cathedral. We think it's too good to limit its availability and proudly offer our Zierholz German Ale as a tribute to the brewing traditions of Cologne.
Zierholz German Ale is brewed from a blend of the finest German malts and the freshest German and Czech hop varieties. It is fermented using a unique yeast strain from Cologne and cold conditioned to highlight its smooth character. The end result is a bright, golden ale with a nose tingling hop aroma, appetizing malt and delicate fruit palate and a crisp, dry finish. Savour the Cologne tradition.
