Our seasonal wheat beer is an ale with flavor like no other. Its unique banana and clove yeast characteristics make it the juicy fruit of beer. Technically speaking this beer is known as a hefeweizen – hefe is the German word for yeast and weizen means wheat. Visually the beer is somewhat hazy – this is the hefe, taste-wise it is light yet malty – this is the weizen. This mouth-watering brew is often served with a slice of lemon for a zesty summer cooler. Circle City Wheat is West End Wheat but with a name more appropriate to Pittsboro! Also know as Circle City Wheat
