The second volume of our Anniversary Series is this Belgian-style apricot ale. Pours a golden-orange color from the apricot purée with a fine, off-white head. The apricot-forward nose, followed by spice and malt, gives way to mild pear and melon esters followed by a biscuity malt aroma. The fruit melds well with the malty sweetness, like apricot preserves on a fresh baked biscuit, while earthy and spicy U.S. Saaz hops balance the sweet entry.
