Hop Ottin’ IPA is as hoppy as they come. The name means “hard working hops,” in Boontling, and that tells it all. Generous additions of high-alpha Pacific Northwest hops added during a vigorous boil, plus traditional dry hopping, with whole hop cones, give this ale a delicious citrus aroma, and an intense hoppy bite. This IPA is a hop lover’s dream. Hop Ottin’ IPA received a Silver Medal from the 2001 World Beer Championships, in the India Pale Ale category, and has several other medals as well. Click here to see the entire list. As with all of our products, Hop Ottin’ IPA is never sterile filtered nor heat pasteurized, and should be stored in refrigeration. However, to fully enjoy its rich and complex flavor, it should be served between 40° and 45°F.

This brew is an India Pale Ale by style, but that is where the similarity to most IPAs ends. Each consecutive batch of Hop Project is brewed with a different blend of spicy, aromatic hops, never using the same blend twice. It's a Hophead's dream come true! Hope Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attituede. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bittering level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, and Hop Riot indeed.

Our red India pale ale is a sterling example of excess. We use copious amounts of both malts and hops to create this decidedly bitter yet curiously balanced beer. As its namesake implies it is more than capable of overloading the unsuspecting pallet just with a lot less mutton chops and frock coats. Big caramel, big malts and even bigger resinous citrus hop flavor and aroma. This beer pairs well with BBQ, Curry, Spicy foods and pungent cheeses.

For us this is where it all started! The rich golden color comes from a blend of English and American base malts accented with substantial amounts of Victory and Wheat malt. The American citrus hops take center stage with emphasis on late boil additions of Citra and Amarillo. This signature ale is hopped before, during, and after the boil!
