A stronger version of our Pale Ale made with fresh Sage, Rosemary and Thyme and dry hopped with Sorachi Ace.

The hop casserole Brew Age is an Austrian interpretation of American pale ales. Pale Ale is a top-fermented beer type, which is characterized by the use of a special Alehefe and the use of aromatic hop varieties. Another special feature of this beer is the application of the 'hops stopper ". Here, the finished fermented beer is mixed with aromatic hops. The result is a fruity bouquet reminiscent of exotic fruits and citrus fruits.

When we started out in Graham’s garden shed, making a good pale ale was one of our first objectives. It took us many attempts to come up with a recipe that we were happy with. Now it’s our best selling beer and accounts for half our total production. It’s our house pale ale and a beer that we are proud to brew and delighted to drink. We’re also proud and delighted that Pale Fire is a favourite in our nearest pub; The Chesham Arms. This pub was saved from the brink by a group of local residents who fought to get it listed as one of the UK’s first Assets of Community Value in October 2012. The campaign went on doggedly for 929 days with the Chesham finally reopening it’s doors as a pub again in Summer 2015. The cultural plundering doesn’t stop with the name of the beer. The label too is an homage to the great Californian poolscapes painted by David Hockney. Heat haze, pine trees, swimming pool all you need now is a beer. Perfect.

An American Pale Ale. Refreshing and very hoppy with notes of citrus and a clean bitter finish. Just enough malt character to compliment the hops.

"Behold the Pale Rider. His name is hops and bitterness follows him." Or something like that. Citra and Cascade hops drive the aroma and flavor of this pale ale imparting citrus flavors of grapefruit and lime with some floral notes. Hop lovers will sing hallelujah while to the uninitiated it just may be a revelation.

Brewed in the traditional Bamberg style, this is a pale helles lager brewed with malt smoked over beechwood. Light and crisp with a subtle smokiness that adds a layer of complexity.

Our newest hop in the Single Hop Series is the Experimental Hop #07270 from Hopstiener. Right off the bat the nose hits you with sweet, skunky, and dank notes. The flavor follows suit with sweet tangerine, garlic, and more dank marijuana flavor before finishing dry with some light fruity bitterness.

IPA - Big body – long tail! Good for a stranding or just getting beached.

The discovery of the true I.P.A. (India Pale Ale) made right here in Slippery Rock. The British added hops to oak barrels to help preserve the beer for its long voyage to British-controlled India. Brewed in this same English tradition, we dry-hopped our ale, giving the beer a very aromatic quality as it travels to your mug.
