Made from honey and mangos, sweet but not overly so, smooth, wonderful complexity between the flavors and the long lasting finish, with a light body.

Sorghum Ale Style: Gruit A true son of Texas, this gruit is made with all native Texas ingredients. Sitting on a base of sorghum cane juice and dark brown sugar, Sun Eater is bittered with rosemary and infused with dried lemon peel. It is highly-attenuated for a dry and refreshing finish similar to that of a cider or champagne. This gruit was designed to beat back that Tyrant Sun of hot Texas weather, which is practically year-round, so grab a 6-pack and head out into the world!

To celebrate our 14th anniversary, our brewers created a Chesapeake Tripel Imperial Mild made with three grains barley, wheat, rye) and saaz hops.

This taproom exclusive beer is brewed in the style of an American Hefeweizen (unfiltered wheat ale). Wheat in the grist gives it bread like malt character and lighter hopping rates allow the malt and yeast flavors to shine.

Very pale, crisp and light with a clean subtle maltiness. Just a hint of wheat and the flavor of Czech Saaz hops.

When you look at the Scoville scale for spice index you immediately realize that jalapeno peppers just aren't going to do the trick. That's why we jumped on the Serrano pepper wagon right off the bat. Ultimately even THOSE couldn't please Chris, one of our owners so we turned to habanero peppers. Sunburn Pepper Beer features a pleasant malty backbone and even some citrus notes in the hops which helps absorb some of the heat from the peppers. The beer is allowed to cure for several weeks, the heat slowly building as it steeps into the brew. By the time we put Sunburn on tap, you'll feel like you could use just a touch of aloe vera to cool things off. Never fear though. We like to keep things subtle at Muddy Creek so you don't have to worry about immediately tearing up your mouth and throat. Like a real sunburn, the beer goes about it's business slowly and quietly.

Sunburn Summer Brew is a very smooth, refreshing, sessionable ale. Sunburn is light in color, body, and bitterness, but by no means light in flavor. Sunburn’s point of differentiation is that it delivers an abundance of flavor via the new hop called Citra. Citra is aptly named for its thirst quenching citrus flavor and aroma. Sunburn Summer Brew is lighter in alcohol, full in flavor with a crisp finish making this a great beer for any summer afternoon.

A Belgian-style farmhouse ale with a dry finish and distinctive spicy character provided by the particular saison yeast.

Brewed to be dry, crisp and refreshing. Each batch is fermented with over 200 pounds of apricots for a nuanced fruit finish with honey notes.
