Imperial Stout

Imperial Stout Beers don’t get much darker than this. This beer is so big and black it creates a dark tan head, and if you swirl it, it takes a few seconds for the darkness to run down the inside of the glass. The aroma is bold with notes of roasted grains, chocolate, toffee, sweet caramel, and alcohol. The flavor starts off malty sweet with the some characters of the aroma. Then the robustness of the roasted grains and hop bitterness break through and the alcohol leaves a warming finish. Blackfoot’s Imperial Stout is a big, bold, intensely flavored, full bodied beer.

You didn’t think The Bruery and Cigar City could get together and not make a special version of their already special beer, did you? This extremely limited version of Marrón Acidifié was fermented with Florida and California fruits, pink guava and dates, added to the barrels. It was only be offered to ourReserve Society members as there simply wasn’t much to go around, which is unfortunate, because it’s a beer that deserves a wider release. Consider it a tribute to those who like to search for and trade!
