An Imperial Hoppy Wheat Ale. Wait, what? Daddy didn't pay attention to traditional wheats, so this one has our own twist on it. Ale yeast, on a mountain of hops, and a 50% wheat malt base make this high gravity beer dangerously drinkable. Featuring buckets of late addition Amarillo and Lemon Drop hops. We thought about making a lighter abv beer, but at a well-hidden 8.1 % we unleashed a lion.

Lemondrop is a new experimental aroma hop grown for its unique lemon-citrus character. We got our hands on some of this new hop and engineered an ale with a simple, light and refreshing body that highlights the lemondrop’s interesting qualities. As its name implies, lemondrop imparts a pleasant aroma that is surely sui generis.

This beer was inspired by the unique spice blends in Thai cuisine and is as versatile in matching up with those flavors as a Thai menu is (often) overwhelming. You know what to drink, so the trick will be deciding on what to order.

Our Lemon Tyme Lemonale has been a summer tradition for almost a decade. We make it with real lemons for a treat that’s light, sweet, and refreshing. Lemonale, much like its non-alcoholic counterpart lemonade, pairs well with anything under the sun. Literally, “under the sun,” because this brew represents summer at its finest. Any tyme is Lemon Tyme if the sun is shining. So, pair this beer with summer fun like; live music, sports, friends and rocking a killer farmer’s tan.

When spring approaches, it is time for Jopen Lentebier (spring beer). A top-cropped golden beer with a generous dose of American hops and a handful of coriander seed. These ingredients give the beer a robust fruity bitterness. An appetising change in season. It is not a maibock, which is a different bottom-cropped beer and is generally known for its sticky malty sweetness. Make the most of the beautiful spring days with Jopen Lentebier.

Fortem is a new-age imperial IPA that draws upon a range of influences, all while exhibiting DNA from our own forays into the IPA style. As such, it blends newer hop varieties from the Pacific Northwest and Hallertau, Germany along with pale malt, wheat malt and flaked oats for a full body and rounded mouthfeel. Fortem has been left unfiltered for a full hop impact.

Leon is a big beer. So big, it has twice as much malt as any other beer we brew.. On top of the copious amounts of two row barley, Munich, Victory, Chocolate, Black Patent, and Caramel 80 malt in this beer each 15 barrel brew has 50 pounds of freshly in-house handmade marshmallow fluff as well as 16 pounds of bittersweet bakers chocolate, and 30 pounds of crumbled graham crackers. Leon clocks in at just over 80 IBUs and 11.6% ABV. Does it taste like a Smore’s? That’s for you to decide, but either way this is one fun beer to make, not to mention drink.

Brewed with local ingredients, this beer showcases what the upper midwest has to offer the IPA drinker. Pilsner and Pale Ale malts from right here in MN and hops grown in southern WI. We hopped this ale at every stage, from the mash to the fermenter, focusing on a big citrusy flavor and aroma.

Typed, it will surprise you with its originality, aromatic strength and roundness. It will be appreciated as an aperitif with simple savory biscuits (pretzels), but not always fresh ice.
