Lazy Yak is an easy going Australian Pale Ale. The flavour of citrus and light passionfruit comes from the Citra and Nelson Sauvin Hops added late to the kettle. The use of the Yakima Valley Hop early gives us the easy drinking nature of this luscious beer that is balanced by the light bitterness and full sweet malt flavour.

Burnside "Low and Light", is a delicate Belgian style table beer with soft notes of bananas and bubblegum. Enjoy the dry smooth malt sweetness and substantial body created by the 75 pounds of flaked oats.

A Petite Buddha Saison brewed with an absurd amount of pumpkin, candied endive, cacao nibs, and Buddha's Hand. Fermented with various strains of Brettanomyces along with Saison yeast then aged on Chardonnay barrels, the resulting beer has a light body and very softly spoken complexities.

Belgian yeast transforms simple ingredients—pilsen malt, noble hops, and beet sugar—into a fruity, spicy, slightly tart ale with a crisp FINISH despite its relatively high alcohol content. The finishing touch: We serve this one with a big frothy head!

Part of #Febrewary Beau’s Pro-Am Series is a salute to homebrewers, true innovators of our craft. These beers are designed by amateur brewers, and brewed at Beau’s. Le Cœur Noir Black IPA was brewed in collaboration with Jordan Rainhard, winner of the 2013 Toronto Beer Week Homebrew Contest, and soon to be pro brewer at Rainhard Brewing Co. Congrats Jordan! History & Style Black IPA is contemporary American beer style that combines black beer colour, assertive hop flavour and aroma and toasty (rather than roasty) dark malt character. Tasting Notes This nearly opaque black beer offers up aromas of citrusy, piney hops with malt intonations, toast and restrained mocha. The overall flavour balance favours the impression of juicy, resinous hops supported by a solid malt backbone. This strong ale is robust, but the alcohol remains well integrated.

Our newest beer is almost history. It's Belgian Abbey Dubbel, a complex, malty, well, monstre.

First light of dawn; a poised Rubber-Booted Artisan, a calm and peaceful brewery cloaked by the fresh, doughy aroma of malted barley, his own cloister-and Ale shall be created. This seasonal offering is fashioned with reverence towards the long-standing tradition of Trappist Abbey-style beers of Belgium. Brewed with Pale Ale malt, oats, and dark crystal malts, hopped with Fuggles, and fermented with authentic Belgian Abbey yeast, the ale reveals intricate layers of spice, fig, bitter chocolate and delicate alcohol. An inviting, yet complex brew that implores us to relax, silence ourselves, and take a moment to appreciate what’s genuine, simple, and beautiful in life. Be at ease, be at peace, and enjoy…cheers.

This Brettanomyces finished saison was brewed with peaches and apricots. After 8 months in wine barrels this beer is boasting huge complexity and a refreshing tart finish.

The second in a three-part series of jazz-inspired interpretations on the French Biere de Garde style, Le Pianiste starts as a malt forward beer, combining biscuity, breadcrust notes with a light caramel flavor. Noticeably dry, the finish is crisp with a lively, refreshing acidity.

Coffee Porter, made with cold brewed stumptown coffee. Smooth'n roasty, medium light body with notes of chocolate and roast.

This beer was created on February 11th, 2010. It is composed of 6 varieties of cereals and 1 variety of hops. I created this beer to help me wake up me from my 2 to 3 PM sleepy phase. A beer that gives the impression to be drinking upside down!

Saisons (pronounced “say-zohns”) are refreshingly crisp, dry beers traditionally brewed in the French-speaking southern part of Belgium known as Wallonia. Originally brewed for summertime consumption, they are now year-round standards at the family table. Le Saisonniere was brewed in the style of a grisette and named in honor of the saisonnieres, seasonal farm workers who toiled in the summer sun and were rewarded with and refreshed by this thirst-quenching beer. These were historically brewed to a lower alcohol content despite the recent industry precedent to create much stronger saisons.

This beer was created on June 5th, 2008. It is composed of 4 varieties of cereals and two varieties of hops. This third version has been matured in oak barrels which previously contained irish whiskey for 8 years. Just compare the taste of these three barrels! A tonic beer that strengthens and enhances the body’s activity, that has tonus, energy and vigor. “The Tonic” restores body strenght and has a stimulating impact on one’s mood!
