This original Leipzig beer specialty lends us the name for our brewery. Gose is a regional beer specialty that was brought to Saxony-Anhalt in the year 1738. Originally Gose comes from Goslar, a small town in Lower Saxony, and the river “Gose” in this town. This beer specialty has a refreshing, slightly sour taste and is ideal for quenching your thirst. Gose is brewed with the additional ingredients lactic acid, cilantro, and salt. Gose is a top-fermented beer with 4.5% ABV and 10.8% wort. You can enjoy it in different variations.

Four Grain IPA. 6.5% Brewed with oats, rye, and spelt. Hopped with Lemon Drop, Mosaic, and Motueka. This beer is the 500th batch of beer brewed at our humble BrewCafe! Here’s to another 500 strange and beautiful beers!!

Radler: German for "cyclists," Texan for "damn refreshing!" Karbach's Radler is a blend of lemon, ginger, and a golden beer that is sure to quench a Texas-sized thirst! Perfect for days by the pool, cooling off after yard work, or winding down after a long bike ride.

From Mission BC's Mission Springs Brewing comes their "Lemon Ginger Radler" a mix of their Trailblazer Pilsner, California Lemons and an organic ginger root infusion. The Radler pours a very light cloudy yellow colour with a small white head. The aroma is dominated by lemons, ginger and an overall sweetness that almost reminds me of a craft pop. The flavour is if lemonade, ginger, candied ginger, a hint of Pilsner malts and a very mild crisp bite. The alcohol content comes in at 3% with an IBU of 17.

Some partnerships were obviously meant to be (Lennon & McCartney, Morecombe & Wise) whilst others produce greatness to everyone's surprise (Starsky & Hutch, Bert & Ernie). Well, add to that list Lemon & Ginger, 'cause boy do they hit the spot in our uber-refreshing, deep golden ale, Lemon Head. The intriguing union of lemon and ginger creates an unmistakable thirst quenching surprise.

The Kölsch is a bright, clean, refreshing beer with delicate notes of lemon, lime, and hops on the nose. A perfect patio beer! Inspired from memories of sipping Kölsch under the magnificent Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral) in Germany, we spice up this traditional style with Nashville grown lemon and lime basil. ​ Drink until refreshed, but know the only way to get them to stop pouring beer in Köln is to put a coaster on your glass!

The base beer is a kolsch, and plenty of lemon zest was added to it, making it a ‘lemon shortbread’ kolsch!
