Extremely limited commercial release of our first sour ale.

Named after our local surf break by the Ventura pier, Surfer's Point™ Seasonal Lager, will have three smooth lagers throughout the year. The Spingtime Bock is brewed in the Bavarian style of a Maibock to celebrate the coming of spring. This beer showcases a restrained malt character with just enough hops to balance out the slight sweetness from the malt with a subtle hint of fresh flowers and spice. The perfect beer to help pass the time as the winter swells give way to the spring calm.

The “California Common” originated in the 18th century California, where brewers without access to refrigeration produced beers using lager yeasts and warm temperatures. The taste of our Surfline is anything but “common,” and retains some of the rounded character inherent in all lagers, but with a dose of ale fruitiness. Keep and serve cold as hail!

Surfside Wheat is an easy drinking hefeweizen, A German style of wheat beer so valued in its hay day that the German Nobles passed a law that only their personal brewing facility could make it. The special yeast used in this beer gives it a hearty aroma of bananas and cloves. We serve it with a slice or orange on the rim in the taproom. A best-seller!

This beer was brewed as an experiment to determine how much chocolate and cacao nibs contribute to the flavor and aroma of a beer with no chocolate or roasted malts. We selected a chocolate from Ritual Chocolate out of Utah and originally grown in Belize. We picked this chocolate because of its notes of cherry, dried fig and citrus. We used 25# of 75% dark Belizian chocolate and 5# of nibs in the boil, and another 5# of nibs during conditioning. The result was quite surprising. The beer pours with a delightful golden color and a thick nose. It has a creamy, malty body and light flavors of chocolate and cherry. It finishes with a sweetness as well as a sensation of just having indulged in a piece of dark chocolate. Our conclusion... we are so grateful for the wonders of chocolate malt and the beautiful notes of chocolate it gives our beer!

A franco-belgian style ale or Biere de Garde. A low to medium bodied ale with a slight malt sweetness and spicey yeast character.

Beer of the Ancients! Finished with 15 pounds of cold-pressed Stumptown Hairbender espresso. Unlock the mystery entombed in darkness.

Susan was our grandfather's sister. Our release of a beer brewed in her honor completes the ancestral series of our Grandfather's generation... Susan is an IPA brewed with Riwaka, Citra, and Simcoe hops. 6.2% abv.

100% Brett fermented Oak Aged Amber Saison

A big, burly Oatmeal Stout full of chocolate, caramelized malt and coffee flavors. This stout has a rich mouthfeel and a smooth, roasty finish.

Sussex Golden Ale is a soft Golden Ale with the gentle bitterness of Fuggle and Golding Hops. Best served chilled.

Classically referred to as a Schwartz beer, this dark American lager is brewed in the spring. Soft and sweet on the palate, the roasted and dark caramel grains give the sensation of a satisfying and filling beer, while lager yeast lends refreshing thirst-quenching ability, providing a rich, full flavored, light bodied experience..

Handmade sparkling Hard Apple Cider from Sutliff Cider Company in Lisbon, IA. This champagne-style cider is barrel fermented in used French oak which gives just a hint of oak on the finish. The cider is fairly dry, crisp & clean, with lively carbonation. This beer pairs well with our Carlson’s Spinach Salad, Blue Cheese Steak Salad or as an aperitif.

An exceptionally light-colored beer fermented at slightly lower then ale temperatures to produce a smooth, crisp, and citrus finish. Light-bodied beer with a slight hop nose.
