A semi-sweet mead (~20g/l residual sugar) infused with a tea of hibiscus, rosehip, licorice, cinnamon, and dried apples. The herbs provide a smooth structure to the mead with a lingering honey aftertaste. Ideally served at around 55 degrees (F), in a large red wine glass to allow development of the nose. A good stand alone 'sundowner', a well matched partner to spicy dishes & stir fries, game & poultry, and a companion to desserts & coffees.

Our goal at 17th State Brewing Company is to make great beer while teaching the people who consume our beer a few Ohio facts along the way. This vision becomes no clearer than in our “Lighted” Kolsch. This Cleveland style Kolsch is a light, crisp and beautifully refreshing golden ale. Our Kolsch has pleasant, subtle pear aroma, and a delicately fruity, lightly bitter flavor in the mouth, due to the use of German Hallertau hops. A classic take on a German Kolsch, 17th State Lighted Kolsch will leave you refreshed and thirsting for more. The “Lighted” is meant to honor several Ohio accomplishments that are related to lighting in which Ohio was first. Thomas A. Edison, the inventor of the incandescent “light” bulb, was from Milan, OH. In 1879, Cleveland became the first city to be “lighted” by electricity. Cleveland boasts America's first “lighted” traffic light which began on Aug. 5, 1914. East 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland was the site of the first pedestrian button for the control of a “lighted” walk signal at a traffic light.

German malts and hops along with a long lagering give this beer impeccable drinkability. The superb malt flavor is balanced by just a hint of hop bitterness. PROST!

An early release pumpkin beer designed to balance pumpkin, traditional spices, and amber ale flavors. No one flavor overpowers the other. ABV 6.0%, IBU 25

Banana, honey, clove, and peppery-spice. Spicy, fruity, rambunctious fermentation character that coalesces towards a clean, elegant finish. Light, fruity alcohol notes. Notes of honey and pale malt support, with a gentle, floral hop presence

Made in collaboration with homebrewer, Mike "Tasty" McDole, Tasty IPA drinks easily but isn’t necessarily easy drinking. The hop forward creation, spawned from test batches of Tasty’s own homebrews, features Citra and Mosaic Lupulin Powder with Ekuanot hop pellets. It’s a quenching IPA with a clean bitterness and a ton of hop aroma and flavor. It serves as a reminder to all homebrewers that dreams do come true, fantasies can become reality, and big burly beer dudes are a thing of beauty.

Description: Anthemic will be an unfiltered hoppy pilsner that will use a different hop each release. The first time we use Azacca hops, which lends to a lemon, pine, and orange aroma that compliments the crisp clean malty palate of the pilsner.

Our Double IPA features light malt and a hazy appearance that suddenly yields to bright, big hop flavor. Pacific hops impart notes of papaya, berry and black tea with an enticing tropical fruit aroma.
