Berliner Weisse brewed with Montmorency Cherries from King Orchards out of Central Lake, MI. This ale is sweet and tart in flavor and pink in color.

The best part of a campfire is completely roasting a marshmallow on the end of a coat hanger. That burnt marshmallow is not only just a tasty treat but that flaming ball of puffed sugar is quite the show. Your first impression of What Plane? is well done marshmallow, graham cracker and baking chocolate. You observe it’s intensely dark color and wonder what else this beer is hiding? A U2 spy plane perhaps? When you hold it to the light, the only thing you see is the tan lacing around your glass, ruby red highlights and beer as black most stealth aircraft. The flavors of the beer aren’t far from the aromas, dark sugar, crispy oatmeal cookies, baking chocolate and espresso. Goes well with well done smores... duh. BBQ pulled pork or brisket, creamy blue cheese, wild game chili, St. Patty’s Day, campfires, spiking your coffee at work.

The pale straw color correctly reflects this beers delicate drinkability. Light grain flavors reminiscent of a German lager balance nicely with traditional German hops.

Inspired by the grain-based beverage of Mexico, Ammunition is brewed with Maris Otter, Toasted Rice, Flaked Oats, Chocolate and Honey Malts. Finished with lactose, Ceylon cinnamon, and Madagascar Vanilla Beans this Horchata Dark ale is perfect for the ever-cooler evenings.

Catawba Brewing Co. teamed up with Asheville’s own Astral Designs, manufacturers of the market’s finest whitewater paddling shoes, to honor tradition via the Astral Bootie Beer. This sessionable, 4.5% ABV Pale Ale is meticulously cobbled together from three different malt varieties for body, and Citra and Amarillo hops for bright tropical and stone fruit flavors and aromas. The next time you paddlers are faced with a swim, feel free to go sans-shoe and consume Astral Bootie Beer straight from the can.

Brewmaster Norm Penn's signature beer, CocoNorm is a Robust Porter brewed with a fusion of dark malts and lightly toasted organic coconut. With a rich toasted aroma and smooth, easy-drinking chocolate and coconut flavors, you can't help but picture yourself bathing under a cascading waterfall in a tropical paradise, with a bevy of island beauties. A classic Belgian Tripel brewed with European Pilsner, flaked wheat, and candi sugar meet traditional Saaz, American Mt Hood, and Crystal hops in the boil to forge a clean taste and bubblegum-like aroma. The absence of aging allows the beer to remain lively.

Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. We will make countless trips between the fields in Yakima and the brewery in Fremont, loaded with tens of thousands of pounds of fresh, juicy hops. We brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest highlighting different hop varieties as they are harvested. This batch highlights Citra fresh hops, presenting notes of rich, tropical citrus.

5th Anniversary Hazy IPA.

Take a bite into a glass of this liquid jelly doughnut! A stark deep purple color, huge jelly and jam aromas of blackberry, backed by a subtle note of icing from a touch of vanilla bean, and a moderate bready, doughy malt aroma. A big clean sour flavor drives home the blackberry jelly flavor.

Rediculous Red IPA turns standard India Pale Ale on its ear. Our brewers shore-up this brew with copious amount of crystal malt to create a sturdy red color and malty canvas. Then they paint a masterpiece of hop character using ridiculous amounts of Cascade and Citra hops both in the boil and in cold-conditioning. One sip will make you say “This thing is RED-iculously delicious!”

Brewed in collaboration with the Blue Ridgwe Parkway Foundation, this DIPA was hopped exclusively with Centennial hops in honor of the 100th birthday of our National Parks.
