Citricity Grapefruit Zest IPA

This grapefruit zest-infused IPA is charged with freshly peeled fruit juciness. Zesty pith notes mingle in perfect union with bright citrus hop character. Peel back the sunshine and enjoy some citrus paradise. This hand-crafted brew pours a sunset golden colour with a pillow white head. Freshly peeled grapefruit sparkles off the nose, with crisp citrus flavours set against a backdrop of fruit-forward hops. Finishes clean.

A strong and chewy stout created by blending several dark and rich malts. This approach creates the impression of layers of fruitiness, chocolate and coffee. This type of beer was originally made for the Czars of Russia by British brewers.

No Innuendos IPA

No need for suggestive names or implications, this hazy tropical fruit bomb of an IPA will leave you floating on a cloud. Lactose sugar and oats lend to a fluffy dense body, while four specially selected strains of hop varieties hit your senses with dank tropical fruit aromas. A slight sticky hop resin bitterness accompanies the sweet fruit characters of this beer creating a fantastic balance.

/ Amager - Dino S'mores

Amager Bryghus Collaboration When we launched BorrachaBaker made us some s'mores shaped like dinosaurs for our launch event. Then, we made an imperial stout with graham flour, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and cocoa nibs with Amager and West Lakeview Liquors. Then, we brought this beer to the Brewpub Shootout and paired the beer named after the food with a food the beer wasn't named after. People were confused and named it best beer (or was it food?) at the Shootout. 40 IBU

Amager From Amager With Love

Collaboration with Amager Bryghyus Amager is an island south of picturesque Copenhagen, mostly notable as the home of the airport, the place you go to get high and the common colloquial name for Amager is Lorteøen (Shit Island). But Amager has much more to offer than you might think. Like these two dedicated brewers from Amager Bryghus, who traveled all the way from Amager to the states to brew a pitch-black and troublesome Imperial Stout infused with the cutest blueberries. It might look shitty, but once you let it sink in you can feel the love within.

Smoking Nanners

Smoking Nanners is a result of Flossmoor Head Brewer Bjorn Johnson and Greg’s time together in Munich for brew school. Together, they traveled to different regions of Germany, and a memorable stop was in Bamberg, where smoked beers are considered a specialty of the area. Smoking Nanners was brewed in tribute to Bjorn and Greg’s antics experienced there.

/ Hoppin' Frog Dan'l Webster

In today’s fast paced world, it is often difficult to stop racing around and enjoy the good things in life that hard-working people deserve. For those who search for this long lost sense of leisure that is reminiscent of Southern living, slow down and kick back with Dan’l Webster. Like the racing frog from Mark Twain’s short story, this Imperial Porter will take you out of the race with its intensely heavy weight. With just a kiss of a new, experimental hop that has notes of orange, chocolate and coconut, and then aged on soft maple wood, this thick and satisfying porter is a great way to forget about the race, getting you one step closer to winning the marathon of life.

Rather than a typical Imperial Stout, which quickly decimates you and buries you in the yard, this delicate beauty wraps a warm scarf around your neck and just tightens it, ever… so… gently. 2023m2

2023m2, brewed at Half Acre last month, is a soft sour ale that features the delicate complexity of a well designed New Belgium beer. A partial kettle souring process and light use of Maresh and Sumac all lend an equal hand in delivering a full experience. The numerical name ties into the area measurement of an actual Half Acre. Our hope, though, is to again brew together in the year 2023 and send that beer to the first group of people living on Mars.
