Full-bodied, penetrating depth with a hint of sourness, no bitterness, and pleasing citric after notes. Sounds like it was wrote by a pro. Nicely balanced superior ale, a serious beer, none of this nancy-pancy 'golden ale' crap that seems to be taking over in the UK (this written after April 2018 visit to the UK, where I thoroughly enjoyed those nancy-pancy ales, but don't want them taking over the rich, thick, hoppy NW IPAs I have come to love in BC).
