Confession is a true collaborative effort between the wine and beer world. A variation of our sour blonde ale, brewed in part by the Parker team, Confession was blended and fermented with juice pressed from Parker's Riesling grapes. The result is remarkable. Not quite beer, not quite wine. Fragrant fruit flavors warm the nose, infiltrated by a slight funk from the wild yeast. The first sip is reminiscent of a dry, white wine, but everything changes upon further examination as the flavors marinate and reveal themselves with each gulp

Deschutes Brewery and Hair of the Dog Brewing join forces to weave The Dissident and The Stoic and Fred and Adam into an artistic collage of cask-aging alchemy. Damn. Beer is fun! Conflux No. 1 - Collage is the second release in the Deschutes Conflux Series. These beers were brewed in March of 2010. One hundred percent of these beers spent two years aging in a variety of oak barrels: Rye Whiskey, Cognac, Sherry, Pinot Noir, Bourbon, used American Oak, new American Oak and new Oregon Oak. Less than 200 barrels of this intelligent blend was produced.

Our porter is dark in color yet soft on the palate. English chocolate malts give it a complex, rich flavor wrapped in a silky smooth finish.

A Baltic Porter brewed in collaboration with Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head Brewery and Nick Floyd from Three Floyd's Brewing Co. Each brewer brought an ingredient from their home state; dried Horehound leaf (Michigan), beach plums (Delaware), and red popcorn (Indiana). An aroma of rich roasted malt with hints of coffee and chocolate stems from this dark black lager. The big initial flavors are of sweet plums that eventually become offset by the continued robust malt theme and the unique herbal accents from the horehound. A subtle burnt bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, but it's the surprisingly dry finish that ultimately leaves a lasting impression.
