Named after the brewer’s first daughter in 1992, this is a light beer with a fruit twist. A beautiful aroma greets you followed by a mildly sweet raspberry flavor which leaves a very clean finish. This beer is designed for those who really don’t like real beer. It was originally only going to be brewed for her birth, but people have demanded it ever since so it is always on tap.

Taza Stout is lavish comfort in a bottle. During the boil, we add roasted chicory root and ginger, creating coffee tones lightened by a refreshing yet subtle spiciness. After fermentation, we age the beer on organic roasted cacao nibs from Somerville-based Taza Chocolate. The result is a rich and lively chocolate finish that perfectly complements the elegance of our estery Belgian house yeast.

An American-style Black Ale with the addition of rye in the grist for added spiciness and dryness. Assertive hop bitterness, citrus/floral hop flavor and aroma, medium-high alcohol content and medium body one would expect with a Rye IPA, but distinguished by its black color from debittered black malts and a unique mashing process that reduces the amount of burnt or roasted bitterness, astringency, flavor and aroma from that would otherwise be expected in an American Stout.
