“THE VAPORIZER” is a golden-hued Pale Ale that features a beautifully hoppy aroma and flavor. The malt is 100% Gambrinus Pilsner, our sweet and supple house malt from Gambrinus Malting in British Columbia. The hops are primarily of the Challenger variety, grown on a single farm in the Yakima Valley. We dry-hop “THE VAPORIZER” to pump up the hoppy goodness. It’s an appetizingly dry, clean and pure-tasting take on a hoppy Pale Ale.

This one is for the hopheads. Classic west coast IPA brewed with six varieties of hops providing flavors of tangerine, mango and a hint of lemon citrus. Use of an exclusive yeast strain and a higher fermentation temperature produce Short’s version of a California Common Ale. This unique brew is a beautiful golden color with a body slightly bigger than a lager. Porters played a predominant role throughout industrialization of the UK and modestly quenched the insatiable thirst of the hard-nosed working class. We’ve stripped the style back to its raw form and we present it today as a tribute to the amazing founders of this great city. There will be Porter is a ballsy black Ale that brings a balanced malt-focused flavour – look for hints of toffee and black coffee with chocolate notes in its dry finish.

Assertively hopped, Third Coast Beer offers a crisp, dry bitterness with a mixture of floral & herbal aromas.

This unique Belgian Tripel style beer will have you sharing all of your secrets if you are not careful. A large amount of Pilsen Malt combined with a generous amount of Belgian Candi Sugar provides the base for our Abbey style yeast to do its thing. Just the right amount of Hops are used to provide a slight bitterness which is offset by the addition of Coriander seed and Orange peel, giving this Boondocks Brew it’s unique flavor. Given the “High Gravity” of this beer we felt it appropriate to reference Ashe County’s own Third Knob Summit (elevation 3930 feet), about where you will be if you have one too many.

Aspen Brewing Company’s first real “seasonal” offering was our Spring Blonde Wheat Ale, which made it’s debut during the spring season of ’09. It was released without fanfare or publicity, but despite this under-the-radar status, it was a hit. Like, a huge hit. Such a hit in fact that it’s name on our menu in the tasting room was magically changed to Summer Blonde Wheat Ale as the temps warmed up through the late spring into the early summer. So, guess what’s happened now – the Blonde has become a year-round offering known as “This Season’s Blonde”! Horray! Every season should involve a Blonde, right? Similar to our Smuggler Wheat Hefeweizen-styled Ale, this This Season’s Blonde beauty is a Wheat Ale, however it does have some notable differences to our favorite Hefeweizen. First and foremost, where Smuggler Wheat is a cloudy, yeasty, and nutrient-rich ale, This Season’s Blonde is served clear, with playful carbonation leading to wonderful head and beautiful lace along the side of your pint glass. This Season’s Blonde goes down dangerously easily, but you won’t be disappointed! We have been told by our local regulars that This Season’s Blonde is a bit more floral, citrusy, and generally ‘hoppy’ than Smuggler Wheat, which the Aspen Brew Crew agrees with – though don’t be scared, its not bitter like Independence Pass Ale or Conundrum Red.

ALL ALES ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL This powerful and complex golden ale pays homage to Founding Father and fellow brewer, Thomas Jefferson. Yards Brewmaster, Tom Kehoe, worked closely with Philadelphia’s historic City Tavern to recreate this recipe, employing honey, rye, and wheat, just like the beer Jefferson made at Monticello.

This classic American amber ale is brewed with caramel malts to balance the hops with the malt sweetness and to add rich color. Regardless of the beer changing names in different regions, this beer is a nationwide favorite.

"T.I. Pale Ale" is our hop-infused American pale ale that uses English malts and assorted hops from the American northwest to give it a citrusy aroma but perfectly bittered finish. T.I Pale Ale pours with a light caramelized straw with a tan foam and rim up top giving off a snootful of marigold weedy hop. More hop than a pale ale but more gentle than the IPA of the 21st century.

Three Beaches Honey Blonde is our Wisconsin version of the American Blonde Ale. This beer is light-bodied with a sweet touch of honey and a mild citrus accent.

Three Blind Mice is inspired by our favorite qualities from English brown ales, German altbiers, and Irish reds. Mother’s trio of beer connoisseurs sipped away many a night, working to find this ideal combination. Mother’s beautiful brown beer is medium-bodied with caramel, toffee, and subtle chocolate malt flavors—all balanced by moderate hop notes and a clean, dry finish. Three Blind Mice combines components of several malty beers for the unique brown beer experience you’ve been missing. After lots of research to find the perfect styles for our base, the clear winners were the lighter body and caramel characters of Irish red ales, the soft chocolate and toffee flavors from English brown ales, and the hop component and balance of German altbiers. We used traditional elements from each beer style and added our own touch for one incredible brown beer.

Off the horizon, south of unit gun, Three Peaks stands tall above the mesa. Three Peaks IPA is a tribute to the indomitable spirit of folks who carve out a life in the hard scrabble and mesa mud. With generous additions of Amarillo and Citra hops, we think you'll enjoy notes of pine and citrus in this beer as you watch the sunset over Three Peaks.

What the Russian royalty drink when the Vodka runs out! Full-bodied, intense alcohol, roast, chocolate, and coffee tones all balanced out by 67 IBUs of Fuggle and Northern Brewer hops.

Three Way is a sessionable pale ale with a deep golden hue and a flavor characterized by floral and citrus-like hops. The selection of three traditional and unique hops combined with three select malts creates a pleasing and balanced beer; described best by having a medium maltiness, a tropic hop character and a moderate fruitiness with hints of grapefruit, pear and a subtle spiciness. The result is a beer that is sure to be desired by many anytime, anywhere.

Introducing the newest beer in our already impressive line up: Through Hiker Double Rye P.A. At a time when most breweries are scaling back hop usage due to price and limited availability, we've gone to the complete opposite end of the spectrum with Through Hiker! This unfiltered behemoth is loaded with American Cascade and Centennial hops in the boil and over THREE POUNDS of Cascade in the hop percolator! As if that weren't enough, we dry-hopped Through Hiker in the fermenter with even more Cascade hops! What does all this mean? 56 IBU's is what it means. At 13.5 Lovibond, Through Hiker is Amber in color with a slightly reddish hue due to the addition of Crystal malt and the ample addition of Cara-Pils malt. A full 20% of the grain bill consists of Weyermanns Rye malt which adds a spicy, full, viscous mouthfeel to the beer. Our total grain bill weighed out at just over 450 lbs. which adds up to 7.9% abv. so please drink responsibly, lamp shades on the head are SO yesterday...We'll be rolling out the red carpet for Through Hiker on Monday August 18th and it will only be available on site at the Woodstock Inn, Station and Brewery!

Dark malts take over this beer while hops take a backseat. Oatmeal gives the beer a thick, creamy consistency while chocolate and caramel malts give it a unique coffee-like flavor with hints of dark cocoa.
