Our American version of the classic brown ale is mahoghany in color with a a nutty malt flavor and citrusy hop aroma.

Original Ale, Boxcar’s flagship beer, was created to keep our craft-drinking friends happy and persuade our non-craft drinking friends to experience crafts. This unfiltered, moderately hopped, light-bodied transitional ale has a mild malt taste and a hint of citrus. Two different types of unroasted base malts and whole leaf cluster hops are dry hopped with whole leaf cascade hops to provide a rich flavor to this very pale ale. The bottle-conditioned brew has a clean and satisfying finish with an alcohol by volume of 5%.

Bozone Select Amber Ale is the flagship offering from Bozeman Brewing Company. A light amber ale that has a medium malt body gently balanced by a hint of hops for a clean, refreshing finish. Made with Montana grown and malted Pale barley, as well as Crystal and Vienna malts. Hopped with a blend of Magnum, Columbus, Santiam and a late kettle addition of Cascade hops for a pleasant aroma. This is a truly quaffable session beer.

Silver Medal, GABF 2014 American Style Brown. Not quite American but not quite English, this Brown Ale straddles the pond nicely with a healthy dose of english hops, a bold roasty aroma and a smooth malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish. Not to brag but this is the best brown around.

Brainless® Belgian-Style Golden Ale has a rich and complex malt flavor balanced with a little bit of spicy noble hops and strong influences of fermentation esters from the Belgian yeast used. Various Belgian-like Rock Candies, hops and grains are employed to express variations within the style. Deceivingly drinkable, some liken these ales to the Devil sneaking up on you, so consume responsibly.

A hard-rocking sly session ale (easy drinking) that smacks the lips with tasty bitter hops and citrusy grapefruit shots to the nose. It finishes crisp and dry, sustaining like a windmill power chord. All of a sudden it hits you...this is the one.

Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräu-Weisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful.

This American Style India Pale Ale is a true Northwest IPA; a bold hop aroma with a floral and citrus note. Its color is a dark honey or amber tone. The flavors are characterized by a medium intense hop bitterness that is well balanced with a citrus (grapefruit) flavor and aroma along with a mild malty sweetness. Your senses score big time with this ale!

This crazy India Pale Ale takes citrus hop character to a whole new level. Brewed with Citra and Amarillo hops to really bump the grapefruit citrus aroma and taste, we then finish the brew on grapefruit to give it extra bite. Perfect for that first brew of the day. Breakfast anyone?

Breakside’s most popular offering is this beautifully clear India Pale Ale featuring the unique character of Citra and Chinook hops. This light copper beer has huge citrus and tropical fruit aromas with hints of perfume and pine. Flavors like apricot, guava, and orange hit the tongue accompanied by a mild evergreen note. There’s just enough caramel sweetness to balance the hop flavors, but this is really a showcase for the beautiful varieties of hops grown here in the Northwest. Like all Breakside beers, this has a notably dry finish and, in true IPA form, a restrained but persistent bitterness. It’s one of the most drinkable IPAs around! Our flagship beer. How to: Start out with a blend of perfectly crafted FLBC brews, add some critters (Brettanomyces, Saccharomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus), put in an oak barrel, and wait and wait and wait. Shipyard Brewer’s Brown is a full-bodied dark brown ale made with 5 different malts and 3 varieties of hops. This beer has a nice, smoky taste up front and a smooth, full body finishing with a crisp hop bite at the back.

This is one of the three beers that started it all. It was first brewed at our original brewhouse, which was located in the basement of an old antique store in Downtown Blanco. It was a fitting beginning for a brewery dedicated to traditional beer making, and this dark ale epitomizes what we’re all about. Simple and classic. This well-balanced ale features flavors of chocolate and toffee with a smooth, dry finish.
