Our first-born organic brew, this medium-bodied Amber Ale is malty with a touch of sweet caramel and balanced by the smooth, fruity character of domestically grown noble-style hops.
There is no better way to celebrate the repeal of prohibition than with a cold glass of Tap Room No. 21 Amber Ale. No longer bound by law to secretly sip away in speakeasies, Moe’s Backroom Amber Ale can now be enjoyed in any setting, so raise a glass to celebrate our freedoms.
Deep, golden Amber Ale with smooth, full bodied flavor. The palate captures just a hint of honey. Flavors of hop and malt are equally balanced.
Let us introduce the "red headed step child" of our beer portfolio. This beer is commonly over looked and is a true Ninja of a beer. While the malt and hops give this beer an amazing copper color, medium body, and a smooth mouth feel, it's the yeast that sets this one apart from other amber ales. Inspired by almost everything from Belgium (beer, women, mussels) we thought it would be cool to give our Amber a little Belgian love. So we used a yeast that is ALMOST like a Belgian yeast strain. You'll notice it in the aroma but mostly in the flavor. Mild hints of light fruit and clove are present at the very end of the sip, just enough to keep you coming back for another sip.
Truly a Pale Ale with a tendecy to borderline on an IPA. Don't tell the boss, but I change the hops and sometimes the grain with every batch to create something new and exciting. Check in with brewmaster Mike to see what side of hoppy-ness this latest batch is.
An American amber. This beer is slightly malty on the palate with a very balancing hop bitterness. A drinkable beer, one of the Empire's top-selling brews.
Our flagship Amber Ale is deep amber in color, entering with an aroma of fresh hops, coupled with a smooth flavorful body, balancing a complex hop finish.
Amber Apparition- American Amber Ale is rich and enjoyable with its caramel and toffee sweetness, which is balanced by a subtle aroma and a complimentary flavor of hops. Amber Apparition pairs well with delicate seafood, poultry dishes and salads.
This is our take on the classic American Amber. Amber Blaze Amber will remind you of the first craft beer you ever fell in love with turned up to 11. We push the classic style with a biscuit-forward maltiness and generous hop flavor and aroma.
Kickin' Back is a light Vienna style lager with a toasty nuttiness and crisp finish from the German and American hops. Dominate Vienna Malt leads to a flavor beginning with a warm toastiness and finishing very smooth. Light amber color, ABV 5%, light colored head, and minimal IBUs.
semi-dark yeast lager
A non-filtered pungent lager with a fine yeast culture is an unpasteurized beer with its bitterness in harmony with a fine caramel aroma and tasty fullness.
Elegant and balanced. Ramstein Amber Lager has a rich malty aroma, a smooth toasty palate, and a fresh noble hop character. The richness and spiciness of our Amber Lager makes it a delicious accompaniment to a variety of foods. Ramstein Northern Hills Amber Lager is a great beer for any festive occasion.
A traditional amber ale, well balanced with roasty finishing malts and just the right bitterness. Amber Sun is dark red to the eye, but not heavy on the palate. Available in bottles, kegs and growlers.
Run of the mill, malty ambers be forewarned: your extinction is imminent. That’s because Ambergeddon brings the malt AND the hops, the latter seriously lacking in your garden varietals. It’s a west coast style amber, which means you get tons of hoppy goodness on a firm bed of malt. Ambergeddon: Huge hops, big malt. Good luck.
A Belgian amber ale with subtle maltiness and a fruity ester profile from our belgian yeast strain originally sourced from De Dolle Brouwers in Essen, Belgium.
Ambrewsia is our take on an imperial india pale ale. This beer is made to have minimal malt character (a final gravity of 1.006) to allow for full focus on the hops. Five hop varieties are added to create an aggressive bitterness (93 IBU's) along with floral and citrus aromas. Twenty five percent of the grain used in Ambrewsia is locally-sourced and malted locally by Valley Malt in Hadley, MA.
AmericAle is a balanced, dry-hopped amber ale. Select two row barley gives a true malt backbone to this beer with a medium body and rich toasted overtones. The hops round things out with sweet citrus aroma and flavor.

There’s just something about an Ale. Quite possibly the perfect balance of hops and malt, it’s the type of beer just about anyone can appreciate. That’s why we chose this recipe to be the flagship beer to officially launch our brewing company in July 2012.
We believe our American ale is a great example of this classic beer style. It has great character, it’s full of aroma and flavor that’s light enough to drink during the summer and hearty enough to drink in the winter. It’s a beer for beer lovers.
Tawny amber in color with a coffee aroma and tight head. A delicate roasted malt accent, generous use of hops and a smooth finish.
American Amber, originally known as Ashland Amber (created at Rogues original brewpub in Ashland, Oregon which was destroyed by flooding several years ago).
This crowd favorite is based upon an award-winning recipe from David's home brewing days. A non-traditional American amber with a large dose of late hops in the kettle results in a strong hop aroma and flavor profile supported by a firm, malty backbone. Think of it like deep amber colored IPA without the high degree of bitterness.
This Blonde Ale is a golden straw color. It has delicate hop notes and a citrusy aroma, a crisp and dry palate with a touch of sweetness and low bitterness. Higher carbonation adds to the overall experience, light in body and very refreshing, a real thirst quenching beer. American Blonde Ale is our lightest ale, with a clean and crisp flavor and an unmistakable blend of American and European malts and hops. From sea to shining sea was once only a dream. This dream became a reality thanks to a band of 33 travelers who braved the western expanse of America. Lead by two of America’s greatest expeditionaries, they traveled over the mountains and valleys, through the plains and across the rivers, building friendships and narrowly escaping death from their enemies. Starvation nearly took them, but the steadfast devotion and help of a native woman brought them to eternal glory. Let us remember the Corps of Discovery with the American Expedition, a light bodied American wheat ale. Bathed in farmers honey and spiced with ginger, it will give any traveler the fortitude and perseverance to carry on.
Proud to be a micro-beer brewed the “easy way”, with no adjuncts, no beechwood, and no tortuous filtration. If you dissect this beer you won’t find any green apple aromas, what you will find is a clean malt and hop character that easily surpasses your everyday light lager. This crisp, refreshing, sessionable beer is brewed to battle the scorching Mojave Desert heat. At Joseph James the only thing we are looking to “acquire” are loyal drinkers!
This is our traditional American Pale Ale that incorporates Crystal Malt; Milled Wheat; and Willamette and Cascade hops. The combination creates a well rounded and versatile beer that is sure to please any beer drinker.
