As winter arrives, it's time to light the fire and hunk down in the cabin with our delicious spiced ale. Brewed with cinnamon and cardamom, this winter treat will warm you up and get you through the long nights trapped in the house... when there's snow way out.

Snow Wheat is a light, clean, easy drinking Hefeweizen. This beer is brewed with a grain bill of 50% malted wheat and a German weizen yeast strain. Immediately evident are the esters and flavors of bananas and cloves. The finish is clean.

Snowblower Beer is a massive American barleywine. It packs plenty of malt flavor with just enough bitterness to balance everything out. Weighing in at 10%, we recommend this beer AFTER snow blowing, shoveling, or anytime you need a warming beverage during the cold Maine winter.

Super malty, dark and slick. Undertones of raisins and some even say it has notes of red wine. Just because you’re stuck inside during the dead of Winter doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a nice beer. So go throw another log on the fire and put your feet up on the couch. You don’t find too many Old Ales these days. And you certainly don’t find many this good.

This winter brew is an ode to the colorful characters - The Midnight Marauders – that flatten snow in the wee hours, as they ascend without fear into the darkness. For them, we took some artisanal roasted local coffee and brewed it up in a stout made up of a complex blend of roasted malts. Use this ale in the AM or the PM, to get you through the winter months and don't forget to toast the snowcat drivers who craft the perfect corduroy for first tracks.

Celebrate shorter days with a fuller body. Leinenkugel’s® Snowdrift Vanilla Porter™ is brewed with a select blend of seven malts revealing layers of caramel, chocolate and coffee notes. Aged on real vanilla, this brown and ruby-hued brew imparts a slightly spicy aroma from its creamy body that’s ideal for the season.

This is our second season of the Snowfield. We made this year’s version based on previous batches, but changing things up to hit a new season. This winter, we pulled back on the crystal malts (don’t worry there’s still plenty in there!) to make the beer slightly less sweet. We increased the hopping rates slightly but still used 100% centennial (flavor and aroma). This produced a slightly more bitter and hop forward beer that is nicely balanced by the chocolaty, sweet malt backbone and higher alcohol %. A big, silky mouthfeel, perfect for something that would be considered a “winter warmer”.

A delicious mocha stout brewed with locally roasted cacao nibs and coffee beans, the aroma alone is enough to make us wish we could jump in the kettle on brew days. With grains including roasted barley, chocolate malt, and black malt, it will warm you up from the inside out.

A pale, crisp, hoppy refresher. Lots of distinctive, spicy Cascade hops added in several stages during brewing, fermentation and conditioning. O.G. 12.5 Alcohol by weight 3.6%.

Settle in with Wisconsin's Snowshoe Ale. This beer is brewed with a blend of American and German malts. A complicated decoction mash process ensures a rich malty flavor. We also infuse generous amounts of Yakima Golding and Bavarian Hallertau Hops to add a special note of warmth for your winter evening's enjoyment. Expect this beer to be a beautiful copper-red, with a fruity ale body and a spiced hop finish. Then sit back and rejoice in the season because it's these Wisconsin winters that keep the whiners out.

Made with local vanilla from Custom Blending in Fort Collins, there is just enough vanilla to balance out the chocolate and roasted flavors found in this wonderful libation. You will enjoy this beer from the first sip but will want more after the last. Easy to drink, and easy to understand that balance is key in this seasonal beer from our brewhouse.
