Remember when you were first introduced to Rocky Road ice cream? Remember how you couldn’t believe some magical genius had mixed those amazing flavors into one ice cream? We sure do. That’s the feeling we’ve recreated with Rocky Road, Smutty’s first dessert stout. An indulgent blend of ooey-gooey Fluff™ amazingness and the rich goodness of cacao nibs are blended into a full bodied sweet, stout beer. Before bottling, we age this elixir on amaretto soaked oak chips to impart an amazing flavor harmony. Don’t worry if you spill a drop of Rocky Road – we know you’ll lick it right up. Cheers!

Schmutzig showcases the interplay between hefeweizen yeast and Sterling and Crystal hops. It's hoppy like an IPA, but firmly grounded in Bavaria, thanks to its hefeweizen roots. If you can't quite imagine what that's like, you've just given yourself a great reason to come and try it for yourself!

Light, tasty & full of character, our summer wheat ale is brewed with a combination of domestic and continental wheat and barley malts, lightly hopped & fermented with a Belgian wit yeast, resulting in a delightfully tangy & refreshing flavor. This beer is brewed for warm weather enjoyment. Bring some to your next picnic, barbeque or Frisbee game. Available in sixpacks and on draft from May through August.

This chocolate malted stout will bite you in the stern! Like its namesake, this beer is something you could get tangled up in. Brewed year-round and especially popular during the colder months, this beer combines unique ingredients including roasted chocolate malt, flaked oats, cinnamon, licorice root and Long Island apples . . culminating in a savory full-bodied malty goodness, and finishing with a hardy bite.

Our most prized beer. Snake Bite Porter is an English style dry porter. It's dark, crisp, smokey and delicious. Die hard porter fans come back for this one. Self proclaimed "non-beer-drinkers" have been wooed to the craft side with a Snake Bite. By popular demand we serve this porter year round. This velvety stout pours black with a creamy tan head. Toffee and coffee aromas in this hearty ale are perfectly balanced. Lightly hopped, the flavor is full of the roasted malts and finishes with very low sweetness. A very smooth beer, it is the perfect way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day...whether you're Irish or not.

The second beer in the West Sixth High Gravity Series is Snake Eyes Imperial Stout We’ve been making and canning this beer since the first year at West Sixth. A big beer — it weighs in at 11% ABV, it’s a malt bomb with flavor hints of chocolate, coffee and a touch of caramel sweetness. Snake Eyes will be available throughout our distribution area in cans beginning in January each year.

Snake Juice is a pale orange colored IPA brewed with Sidama and Yirgacheffe coffee beans from Higher Grounds Trading Company. The aroma is a blend of fruity citrus hops with roasted coffee and subtle chocolate notes. Sweet flavors of java, berries, and orange lead into a complimentary bitterness that lingers with a pleasant mocha-like finish.

Brewed with a combination of American and Australian hops. It has a bright, complex aroma with notes of citrus, peach, and tropical fruit. A variety of carmel malts lend this beer a full-body and a big mouthfeel.

Named for the river - not the reptile, this brown ale is spiced with fresh orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and “eye of newt”. This was our first seasonal beer when we opened in February of 1997 and has become and annual tradition due to popular demand. With a light brown color and a mild malt profile, this is a very smooth spice beer with lots of aroma. Try a pint of our special Holiday cheer!

An Imperial IPA brewed with flaked rice in order to keep the body light in order to showcase the New Zealand Motueka hops. Pronounced tropical fruit flavors and aromas hide a big 9.3% ABV.

Sneaky Pete is a blend of five hop types: Simcoe, Glacier, Centennial, Vanguard and Hallertuaer, with Simcoe playing the dominate role at 30%. In addition, three separate malts were used: Honey Malt, Rye Malt, and Munich Malt. The brew has a copious aroma of white grapefruit, citrus overtones, a complex rich middle and long flavors in the finish; a real beauty. Finished with wild clover honey.
