An IPA brewed with four varieties of malts and three varieties of hops. South Pacific features hops from New Zealand and has tropical fruit notes with hints of stone fruit and lychee that finishes with a resinous piney bite.

This is a good easy drinking Pale. Light pale in color with light body. Munich malt gives it a slight nutty finish. Cluster and Galena hops come together for a nice citrus flavor and nose.

When the weather warms up the party is always on the south side. After years of experiencing summer blonde ales that were light and “drinkable” but boring, Confluence head brewer John Martin set out to create a distinctive summer beer that is light, refreshing and flavorful. John started with Belgian two-row pilsner malt, cara-blonde and a little wheat malt and American Ale yeast. The not-so-secret ingredient is an intentionally light touch of Citra hops, just enough to inject light bittering flavor via whirlpool and dry-hopping but not so much as to inhibit drinkability. Named in honor of Confluence Brewing’s location on the south side of Des Moines, South Side Citra has become a popular accompaniment for whatever summer activities our friends have in mind.

In Ventura, good things come from the South in the Summer. In this case, in the form of our big Double India Pale Ale featuring Hops from Australia and New Zealand and Patagonia Caramel malt from Chile. Dry-hopping provides aroma to a dominant hop profile of citrus and gooseberries with just enough malt backbone to support the aggressive hopping.

German Pilsen malt and a generous amount of Saaz hops give this lager a great spicy aroma followed by a pure, smooth malty taste. A crisp, delightfully balanced finish makes this Bohemian style beer the perfect treat after a morning of pitching hot tar on a jailhouse rooftop.

Southern Bel' is a deep Belgian Blonde ale with a traditional pilsner malt character and slight toasted biscuit notes. A smooth dry finish accentuated by cloves and fruity Belgian esters. Lightly hopped with a gentle earthy aroma. A subtle yet complex beer for the discerning palate.

Deep, rich malt flavors carry a subtle indication of roasted coffee. Smooth, yet slightly effervescant, mouthfeel carries with it a hint of sweet malts and subtle notes of alcohol. Slight, non lingering bitterness at the finish with undertones of toasted pecans and oak.

Our Praline Amber Ale is brewed with a generous addition of Georgia Pecans and Madagascar vanilla. We also add lactose to accentuate the natural caramel flavors from the malt. These additions combine to produce a flavor reminiscent of a traditional Southern candy, the praline.

Draft Line Brewing’s Southdown Saison is farmhouse ale hopped with only Mosaic hops and a splash of sweet orange peel. With a special Belgian blended yeast and a dose of rye in the mash, this beer gives you a dash of spicyness to go along with the tropical fruit flavor and nose that the Mosaic hops bring to the table. This is going to be your go-to beer after a long hot day on the farm or after a long hot day of doing nothing.

It is the first bourbon barrel aged beer ever to be produced in the State of Mississippi, and supply is limited. The flavor of the bourbon warms the palate, and the toasted oak barrel enhances the natural vanilla flavors in the beer. The beer is extremely smooth and easy drinking.
