State of Mind is a very hop forward session IPA. Dominating the palate and aroma are notes of tropical fruit and orange with background hints of grapefruit and pine. While being full flavoured, this session IPA is amazingly light bodied, crisp and extremely drinkable. Big taste to satisfy the hop bomb lover at a lower percentage of alc./vol. The State Pen Porter is a rich, malt-forward ale that pours dark brown with a thick, cream-colored head. The nose is redolent of chocolate and roasted malt character, while the flavor of the beer expands on those characters with raisin and licorice notes adding complexity.

A full-flavored beer in the German tradition, well rounded with a crisp finish. Enjoy the delicate flavors.

The Statewide Pale Ale was handcrafted by the hardworking brewmasters of premier NYS breweries, including Shmaltz, Community Beer Works, Empire Brewing, Lake Placid Brewing, Crossroads, CH Evans, Mad Jack Brewing, Browns, Rare Form Brewing and others. . Shmaltz will be hosting the launch party for the Statewide Pale Ale, proceeds will benefit the New York State Brewer’s Association. The Statewide Pale Ale is a bright and crisp pale ale brewed with all New York State 2-row malt sponsored by Pioneer Malting, Inc., as well as some other American favorites, hopped with a burst of Warrior, Simcoe, and Mosaic and dry-hopped with New York State Cascade donated by Country Malt Group.
