Dandelion and Burdock Porter The idea for this beer (like all the best ideas) came from a chance meeting down the pub. We ran into John the Poacher in The Cock Tavern and got talking about Hackney Marshes, foraging and beer. Again, like a lot of good ideas, who actually came up with it first is shrouded in a haze of creativity, banter and drunkenness. Anyway the result is a uniquely local product that speaks eloquently of it’s provenance and Hackney’s terroir. Pete Fowler designed the label for Strictly Roots! PETE FOWLER!! It’s unbelievable but true. He’s a legend and one of the most talented artist, designer, DJs in the history of the world ever and he did our label! Yes, get in!!

Attention taste buds…prepare for battle!! FSB Strike Eagle American Ale is a style all it’s own. Named for the F15 Strike Eagle Fighter Aircraft Unit at WPAB, this FSB original takes flight with three turbulent hops that deliver 95 IBU’s of relentless firepower and a superior malt backbone. This high-performance ale is unfailingly delicious!! FSB STRIKE EAGLE SPECIFICATIONS: A strong malt coalition of American 2-Row Pale malt, American Caramel 40 malt, American Vienna malt, and British Amber malt joined by a team of Bravo, Horizon & Zythos hops with a sidekick of FSB American house strain yeast. Obviously, this beer is on a mission!

Intense Citrus and Tropical Fruit aromas.

It has enough strawberry for the ladies but not too much for the guys.

Stroker Ace is a bright, carrot-orange colored ale with fruity hop aromas of citrus zest. This brew is light bodied with low malt sweetness, which allows for an array of noticeable lemony flavors that range from citrus fruit to lemongrass. A proper IPA bitterness resonates in the back of the throat providing a slight lingering bite, and an increasing dryness.

An Oatmeal Stout by style. This is a fairly large beer. Very dark in color. This big malty beer is filled with complex flavors which include, caramel, toffee, coffee, and espresso flavors. The addition of 150 pounds of oatmeal to this brew helps smooth out all those complex flavors creating a slightly creamy mouth feel. This beer is hopped just enough to balance out the high level of sweetness in this beer.

Fruity with balanced bitterness

An all chinook hopped strong ale featuring Special B malt. Spicy and floral hop finish with a strong malt backbone.

Malted barley roasted at a high temperature provides a chocolate note to this medium-bodied black ale. Cluster and Willamette hops are used to create this traditional British ale.

Aromas of ripe plum, maple syrup, raisins and tootsie rolls. The strong malt base is sweet, rich and full of brown sugar and caramel flavors. This is a base beer destined for second-use Woodford Reserve barrels for release this winter.

Also known as a “Wee Heavy”, this richly malty, dark ruby brown ale originated in Scotland where hops for bittering were not native and used only sparingly. This higher alcohol beer is characteristically lightly hopped resulting in a caramel sweetness with a roasted malt almost smoky aroma.
