Yeah, so about “styles”… we like to break them. This big boy weighs in at around 12% ABV. We achieve this by doping it up with 3 different types of sugar. Hey, if it was good enough for the monks, it’s good enough for us. It’s basically an all-you-can-eat buffet for the Belgian yeast that we use. It’s surprisingly drinkable, and we mean that in a good way.
Tucked in the backwoods of the legendary Saint John’s Abbey, the Sugar Shack is operated by monks passing on century-old secrets and providing some seriously sweet history. These guys take maple syrup making as seriously as we take great beer brewing. These discerning monks have given Third Street Brewhouse exclusive rights (yep, that means just us) to pair their notorious sweet blend with our perfectly crafted beer so we can bring you the Sugar Shack Maple Stout. Special thanks to the Saint John’s Abbey Arboretum & Forest in Collegeville, MN.
Ale brewed with maple syrup, Bourbon barrel oak chips and pecan. Sugaree offers a big slice of flavors that you wish Grandma had put in her famous Thanksgiving pie. This is a treat from us to you, to help relive those special memories or maybe help create some new ones.

This White IPA is a lunatic hybrid – part classic Belgian Wit and part dry – hopped IPA. Riding on the edge with the addition of Amarillo and Topaz and blasted with orange peel and coriander. This beer turns on a dime and slaps you with hops straight to the kisser.
Don't let this blonde fool you - there might just be a bit of the devil inside! Its soft golden hue is complimented by a deep head of foam. Its sweet malt flavor is firmly supported by its sturdy alcoholic strength. A tribute to the Strong Golden Ales of Belgium, our Blonde is one of a kind. Spicy and sweetish with hints of cloves and almonds and a low bitterness. It's what you need!
Out of the 90’s Pacific Northwest music scene, Suicide Squeeze Records founder David Dickenson forged his own path with acts like Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, and Pedro the Lion, forgoing standard industry protocal. Similarly, Fort George has chosen to craft beer that is often outside the beer style guidelines. This year’s spring collaboration with Suicide Squeeze Records is one of those beers – a crisp session IPA with every bit of the hoppy flavor and aroma you’ve come to expect from Fort George. Floral and citrusy, Suicide Squeeze IPA is a light ode to spring.
