Black, roasty, coffee tones, full flavored

This is a big, thick, chewy stout in the style made famous by Anderson Valley and subsequently turned into a modern classic American craft beer style. Our grain bill calls for 10% coming from the darkest roasted barley, giving it intense depth, and a similar amount of flaked oats. The oats add body and an almost oily quality. Circumstance and other oatmeal stouts are probably more closely related to so-called foreign or export stouts and are not at all like dry or Irish-style stouts.

Our first small batch beer. This stout grabs hold of the flavors of southern pit BBQ. We took a naturally slightly sweet stout, smoked the grains and then peppered it with jalapeños in the secondary. This result is a slightly intense, slightly smokey beer that goes down easy and leaves a nice burn in your throat. Not for the weak of heart!

A single hopped stout using the intriguing Phoenix, an unusual British hop that gives notes of molasses, Demerara sugar, bitter chocolate and warm spices. We couldn’t resist pairing it with a dark, roasty malt bill to create a bold and distinctive beer.

Combination of high alpha whole British hops like Target & Northern Brewer four bitterness abs balanced against roasted chocolate and black barley malts.

We hand-smoked American 2-Row malt on apple wood and paired it with a mess of deeply, dark roasted barley to create this smokey, chocolatey, coffee scented porter. A mild bitter and an easy ABV come together to make a beer that will light up even the darkest night.

In fact, it is the coupling of the Westons Cider traditional approach with contemporary modern techniques that make Stowford Press so popular and recently described by Pete Brown as 'the best of the mainstream ciders' at the International Cider Challenge Awards, where it won a bronze medal.

or this special brew we partnered up with our friends at Against the Grain Brewery in Louisville. Our collaboration was inspired by a Kentucky tradition; bourbon balls! The base style of beer is an English Pale Ale with pecans added to the mash and lactose added in the boil. The beer was then rested in bourbon barrels for 10 months. If that’s not enough, we then added cocoa nibs and vanilla beans. You’ll be surprised by how drinkable and refreshing this dessert in a glass truly is.

A session American IPA with a dry, refreshing mouthfeel and a slightly nutty finish. Released on International IPA day.
