Weldspatter IPA is not your typical India Pale Ale. First of all, it isn�t as aggressively hopped as many other American versions. Second, it isn�t quite as pale. Balance is a lovely thing in beers and Weldspatter IPA achieves balance without compromising hop presence. The hop flavor and aroma abound, but the bitterness is held in check to give our IPA a pleasant malt character as well.

Well Water is our beloved Holy Confusion barley wine aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for 3 months and dry hopped a second time in the barrel.

Two of the things Britain is renowned for across the globe are traditional ale and puddings. Following the success of Wells Banana Bread Beer comes the latest addition to the exquisitely crafted Wells ales range – Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale. Wells has been using age-old traditional brewing methods to perfect its ales since 1876 and Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale is made to those same exacting standards. It is brewed with our own accredited Natural Mineral Water and the choicest English ingredients. As a result, it delivers all the satisfying, complex taste you’d expect from a true beer but with a unique, indulgent twist. Using traditional British desserts as our source of inspiration, we discovered that the natural, rich flavours of Sticky Toffee Pudding could be exquisitely combined with darker malts to create a truly distinctive ale. With toffee and caramel hints and rich fruit aromas, Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale is an intensely satisfying beer.

Light American ale made with pilsner malt and traditional noble European hops. Light on the palate and not bitter. Lightest bodied beer we have.

A malt-forward winter warmer modeled loosely on an old ale. A blend of light and dark chocolate malts and light and dark caramel malts create an enticing malty complexity on the nose and palate. Dried fruits, toasted nuts and toffee aromas give way to a luscious full-favored mouthful of dried fruits and chocolate-covered caramels with subtle brooding vinous notes and a hint of warming alcohol. Old Ale is a traditional English ale style. These beers were mashed at higher temperatures than strong ales to reduce attenuation, and they often had age-related characteristics like leather or lactic associated with “stale” beers. It was used as stock ales for blending or enjoyed at full strength). Winter warmers are a more modern version of the style that are maltier, fuller-bodied, often darker beers. We roll this one out every December to provide a little winter fuel for the holiday season.

This Ale has a light malty palate, some fruitiness, a pleasant hop bouquet and gold color. With the touch of Pomegranate we added, we think it is perfect.

Orange, lactic, and bursting with apricot aroma, West Ashley is built for consideration and conversation. While Ashley starts as a simple Saison, careful aging in French Oak Pinot Noir barrels with apricots, our house microbes, and warm encouragement transform her into a tart, complex and delectable beer.

Twisted Pine’s modern take on a medieval classic. Braggot, more or less a hybrid of mead and ale, was popular throughout Europe in the Middle Ages and Chaucer even made mention of the drink in his Canterbury Tales. The Twisted rendition began with malted barley, orange blossom honey and Citra hops, before the brewers shifted into adventure mode and added Tasmanian pepper berries and Buddha’s Hand to the kettle. Then for the finishing strokes this unique ale was fermented with a Belgian saison yeast.
