Light amber in color with a pronounced malty sweetness and a generous addition of assertive centennial and cascades hops. A great balance of malt and hops.

Our West Coast Pilz is brewed in the Classic German Pilsner style. This beer is pale yellow in appearance and well-hopped, using traditional noble hops and an American West Coast varietal for a modern twist. Combining these hops gives this beer a unique aroma that is equal parts crisp, spicy, herbal, and citrusy.

Originally created in the San Francisco bay area, this lager is brewed using a unique strain of yeast enabling the brewer to ferment at ale temperatures in fermentors called ‘coolships’. The original creator of ‘Steam’ beer trademarked the name ‘Steam’ so all other beers in this style are called ‘California Common’ or us ‘Steem’ as the spelling. Brewed with pale barley and wheat malts and flavoured with varieties of American and German hops famed for their floral “white wine”, tropical and stone fruit flavours. Using English ale yeast and left unfiltered for added fruitiness, this beer has a partially soured mash and is aged in contact with French oak. The most noticeable feature of this beer is of course its intense hoppiness, which balance the round fruitiness of the hops and yeast. We make a few different IPA’s at Mill Street, but this is our flagship. Brewed on the west coast of Lake Ontario.

West Meets East pays tribute to the age old harmonious relationship of the Ying and Yang. We added fresh Kiwi and Kumquats, from the groves of California, to our Golden Ale that was aged in wine barrels for one year. The result is a bright and flavorful juxtaposition of sour and sweet with mystifying spicy and palate refreshing qualities. Let your third eye shine.

Cream stout with lactose sugar…”thats why it’s a cream stout.” Cocoa nibs and bourbon vanilla beans make this beer creamy and chocolaty. Hints of coffee from 2 types of roasted malts. Candi sugar for a bit of marshmallow. We wanted a stout, so why not a cream stout? Because we can, and we did.

Traditional as far as malt goes, giving a honey, cracker character but with newer Sterling and German Saphir hops that lend notes of pine and lemon. Lager yeast aids in creating a smooth refreshing beer. Think of a Pilsner as pale ale’s more refined brother.

Western IPL is a hopped up version of our Eastside pilsner. We added a ton of Cascade hops to bring out big notes of grapefruit, pine and hop spice and a touch of crystal malt to sweeten things up.

Western Bloc is a tropical and citrus-forward wheat IPA, designed for the wild weather swings of a New Mexico spring. Sporting a big, modern, juicy-fruit hop aroma and avor, and balanced with a soft but light wheaty malt body, this beer is substantial enough for those cold, windy days and drinkable enough for when the sun starts blazing.

This ESB is a well balanced malty hoppy English Pale Ale coming in at 5.5% and 40 IBUs. With the use of English hops and yeast it will bring you back to the love of the old country. The name “Westfield Undergound” is our homage to the Underground Railroad that came up into Westfield Indiana and to the London Underground.

Westmalle Dubbel is a dark, reddish-brown Trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of special malt and leaves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavour is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a fresh-bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste. The Dubbel contains 7% alcohol.

A substitution of wheat for our base grain (2-row) gives this summer seasonal a lighter, cracker-like malt backbone, which supports a tropical fruit forward hop bill: Belma and Crystal. Best enjoyed in the sun in our new beer garden!
