Deep chestnut in colour this British style IPA offers a straight forward, no-nonsense approach to a classic style of beer. At 7% ABV and 64 IBU’s the late hop additions contribute floral and pine aroma’s that make this Matt’s personal favourite. The hop profile is not overpowering, starting crisp and fresh and building to a mellow, bitter finish. A generous dry hop emphasizes a green hop accent with an enjoyable aroma.

An enticing, rich auburn colour with a thick creamy head this is a true representation of classic American red ale. At 50 IBU’S this dry, crisp ale displays a subtle bitterness balanced perfectly with a smooth caramel body and a solid malt backing. With 6.5% ABV this beer completes the triumvirate of Phat Matt’s beers. This red ale is indeed Phat.

NON-TRADITIONAL STYLE Not to be boastful, but we honestly believe all other ales pale in comparison to ours. Dry hopped with an abundance of distinctive Simcoe hops, this straw colored pale ale is more drinkable than bitter, more aromatic than aggressive. Philly Pale, as it’s better known, is crisp, hoppy, and bursting with citrus. AWARDS Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2012 Best Local Beer; named “One of the best pale ales in the country” by the New York Times; Best Light Bodied Beer and Listener’s Choice Winner at WIP’s 2011 Beer Brawl.

A bold American Pale Ale brewed with Pale and Crystal malts and hopped with Centennial and Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. Copper in color, medium-bodied and spicy.

The color is pitch-black, but this beer is eminently sessionable. The distinctive notes of dark chocolate and roasted coffee are hard to resist. Nitrogenation at the tap produces a creamy, satisfying mouth-feel that is followed by a surprisingly clean, dry finish.

This faithful brew's tail wags with a tailored blend of dark chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Brought together with complex hints of Nugget, Fuggle, Goldings, and Willamette hops, the rich, roasted nuttiness of this beer is balanced and satisfying.

This well balanced porter is smooth and has light notes of chocolaty and roasted tones. Only two hops went into this brew Zythos and Tettnang. Zythos were added for the bitterness and Tettnang's to balance out the chocolate malt.

Our robust coffee-infused dark ale with a nitrogen push. A multi-layered ale with generous amounts of chocolate malt and big coffee flavors that are well balanced with a noticeable hop character. Deep, dark brown in color with mahogany edges. The soft and creamy texture make this ale dangerously smooth. Our city, Agoura Hills, was once known as Picture City because of all the movies shot in the area.

A Premium Pilsner Lager Beer brewed with the finest pilsner malts and hops from Germany and the Checzh Republic. Piedmont Pilsner is light in color and easy drinking with a clean crisp finish.

A fiery take on a distinctive American style. Hot granite rocks are added to the brewing process to enhance the corn aroma and balance the light hop and malt flavors. This beer’s body is light, creamy, and smooth and has a glowing pale yellow color. Exceptionally refreshing, and will make any drinker beam with delight.

The Pigasus Porter is dark brown in color with an emphasis on chocolate and roasted barley, rounded out by a pleasant coffee finish. Surprisingly light bodied, this beer drinks lighter than it looks.

This robust porter is black in color, is medium-bodied and has a rich, roasted malt flavor ending with a pleasing hop flavor and mild hop bitterness.

Pillar to Post was the first beer that was brewed at TrimTab, on New Years Day 2014. With an average brewday clocking in at around 15 hours, Pillar to Post is the most demanding beer to brew in our portfolio. It is a celebration of specialty grains. Seven different malts are employed with toasted flaked rye and rye malt standing at the forefront. Those malts provide a spicy, earthy, and decidedly biscuity flavor that is balanced against chocolate malt, midnight wheat and crisp citrus hop notes. “Pillar to post” is an old English idiom that essentially describes an unnecessarily difficult and at-times frustrating process. On the day of the inaugural brew, the brewery opening was three months behind schedule and the project was almost three years in the making. The team thought it was appropriate to honor this journey through the name of our endearingly challenging inaugural brew.

Pilot Pale Ale is craft-brewed with bread-like malt character so as to avoid sweetness, while still maintaining just enough body to balance out a delicate dry bitterness, fermented with an American Ale yeast strain. Taste the natural fruity esters from fermentation that harmonize with a generous aroma hop addition of spicy citrus floral American hops. A smooth, creamy, chocolate laden porter.

Sure it takes us way too long to make this beer, but we'd rather err on the side of awesome. Made with Saaz hops and Pilsner malt, we lager each batch for ten weeks to do this classic, Czech-style Pils right.
