We are excited to present our zestily unique craft-brew, Anchor's Meyer Lemon Lager™. Many of us at Anchor have Meyer lemon trees in our backyards and, for over thirty years, this unusual fruit has played an important role in California's slow-food movement. Our goal with Anchor's Meyer Lemon Lager™ was to create a brew that would highlight the delectable character of this singular fruit: brightness without sharpness, fullness of flavor without heaviness, floral aroma without floweriness, complexity without cacophony. When life hands you Meyer lemons, make Meyer Lemon Lager! Once poured, the appearance is a bright, clear, golden color with tight white bubbles. The aroma of fresh lemon zest hits you, followed by hints of lager yeast, citrus hops and lemon verbena. The taste is tartness of citrus balanced by malty sweetness. It finishes with a clean, pithy bitterness, like a Meyer lemon peel.

Larry’s Lemonade is technically a malt beverage that tastes and looks like lemonade. It’s amazingly refreshing, and has an ABV of 5%. Its base is the same as beer, starting out as malted barley, water, hops and yeast.

This beer was brewed by Latif. Latif is our shipping coordinator, so you can thank him for getting this very beer into your hands. And, you can thank him for the delicious, sweet chocolate flavor. Dark in color, well-bodied but smooth, this beer has a nice blend of roasted malts and chocolate. This Double Chocolate Stout is not only sweet and brewed to cellar, it’s also organic. But what else would you expect from such a wholesome guy?

This one’s all wrapped up delicious conversation. Moderate malt and hops contribute to a refreshing year-round experience. There are some things a description just can’t do justice for. Some things you simply have to experience. A rollercoaster ride; catching a trout on a dry fly; a game at Wrigley Field; love. Columbus Common is Ohio’s only craft beer which shares proceeds with those less fortunate in our community. Because beer is good, but beer for good is better.
