Tropic Thunder is a joint effort with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. We brewed this sour ale with lactobacillus and let it ferment with plentiful Mango, Passion fruit and Peach. Sweet!

When Brewer James Birnie landed his first Unchained assignment, he decided he’d take the opportunity to brew what he most enjoys drinking — a saison. Aiming to create a traditional, Belgian-style saison that highlights the flavors and aromas generated by yeast throughout fermentation, James paired yeast from a small Belgian farmhouse brewery with the Stutrud family farm’s heirloom barley variety, classic Czech hop Saaz and American hop Cascade. Crisp, highly carbonated and refreshing, the beer’s herbal, spicy and peppery flavors will help you usher in the spring season. Look for Unchained 24: Spring Saison in March 2017 in 6 packs of 12-ounce cans and on draught.

Subtle lime and floral notes from the hops combine with light citrus flavors imparted by the coriander and deep minerally water profile to make this complex but crushable gose.

Our session IPA is a sublime pairing of a relaxed ABV with a nice high IBU to enjoy all day with your buds. We used a top secret blend of the dopest hops we could find in the joint and threw most of them in the pot after the boil to make the aromas very blunt.
