Gitchy Gitchy Ooh La La is an Experimental Kolsch style Ale brewed with lemon juice, cucumber and lilac flower. An equal presentation of all three ingredients show up in the nose, as well as a prominent distinction of each in the flavor profile. Pleasant grain qualities help achieve a balance between refreshment and bold ingredients, with a light bitterness to round out the finish.

Earthy, peppery, spicy, and fruity. Complements the spicy characteristic of the flaked rye. A Belgium beer using sugar to produce a dry beer without sweetness (due to active yeast processes).

Generous amount of late boil hop additions balanced with white wheat and Munich malt. Nice nose and flavor from the hops without the “punch in the mouth” bitterness.

A blend of classic, high alpha Pacific Northwest hops complemented by a generous spiking of showcase Citra hops results in a bright, vibrant IPA dominated by overtones of fresh breakfast fruits – notes of juicy grapefruit, guava and melon in the aroma fade into floral bitterness on the finish. This is one of the most vibrant, fresh, lavish and eminently drinkable IPAs you will encounter. A hophead’s absolute dream.

This refreshing Vienna lager is our version of the beer originally brewed in 1841 Vienna by Brewmaster Anton Dreher. Pinniped Special is brewed very authentically using a combination of German and American ingredients to create a smooth complex malt flavor with notes of caramel and toasted bread. This is counterbalanced by a clean hop flavour and bitterness. Finish is slightly dry and cleansing. Additionally we brew it in our German Steinecker brew house using a traditional decoction method. Overall these all work together to make a very balanced and genuine Vienna Lager Herr Dreher would be proud of.

Opens up like a wine. Taste it like you would a big, fat cabernet wine with hints of chocolate, toffee, and raisin and subtle coffee notes.

Soft Parade Shandy is a blend of Short’s flagship Fruit Rye Ale, Soft Parade, and Northwoods Soda & Syrup Co. Gourmet Lemonade. This beer is raspberry in color and smells like fresh berry lemonade. Soft Parade‘s signature berry flavor is enhanced by the addition of citrus. Soft Parade Shandy finishes with the faint taste of fruit candy. It is light in body and very refreshing.”

Grain bill includes rye malt for added complexity without sacrificing easy drinking. Earthiness and spice notes compliment the rye with a touch of orange rind for a refreshing nose and taste.
